Sensei Chris Braun is not only highly skilled, he is highly dedicated to serving the community and his students.

Again, you were awesome and we SO appreciate the many skills and demonstrations you displayed. You have given us a great foundation for Self-Defense and we thank you for your selflessness in teaching us!
Sensei Braun changed my life. I was messed up as a kid. I didn't have much of a family and no father figure in my life. I both from his dojo. His knowledge in the martial arts is unmatched and his dedication is incredible.
I trained actively with Sensei Chris Braun from August of 2004 through August of 2014, when I went off to college. During my time, I was provided with not only knowledge related to the martial arts, but also a great deal about how to carry myself day to day outside the dojo. In the dojo I found a school, a community, and a family all in one.
This dojo focuses on the love of learning far more than the love of rank and title. I trained here for 10 years solid, and I reached the rank of purple belt. The tests are not easy, but they are rewarding. I always went into a belt test feeling I had so much left to learn, and I always came out on the other side feeling like I earned that rank. If you want a black belt in two years, I would look elsewhere. But if you want to get into the heart and soul of the art in a way that you learn to look inward, this may be the dojo for you. I would not be the person I am today if it wasn’t for this dojo.
Sensei Braun is able to teach and speak to his students on many different levels. Sensei Braun is able to teach and speak to his students on many different levels. I have seen him teach a 6 year old (my son), make him laugh while he was learning and turn around and teach an adult at the level that they need to learn at. He (Braun) breaks down the lessons into the way that you need to learn. Often its a different way each time for each person, and he does this all in the same class. He's a good man.
He (sensei) is fun and and helps me learn. I have been to other clubs and often they only want your money. He is here for me and wants me to be better. I think he is helping me be a better person over all. Everything he does is more than just kicks and punches. He teaches you as a person.
"Chris is my number one person in association (Feeding Crane Kung Fu International). He has true love for Feeding Crane and more people must be like him. He is my brother and good person. "
Liu Chang-I is the head of the Feeding Crane Kung Fu system from Taiwan. Braun has had extensive training with Shifu Liu and his family style of martial arts.
